Catherine Anne

 Catherine Anne O'Hara OC (born March 4, 1954)is a Canadian-American actress, comedian, and writer. O'Hara has been the recipient of a number of distinctions, including an award called a Genie Award, a Golden Globe Award as well as two Screen Actors Guild Awards, two Primetime Emmy Awards, and six Canadian Screen Awards. She was made an Officer of the Order of Canada in 2018 and was honored with the Governor General's Performing Arts Lifetime Artistic Achievement Award in 2020. She first came to the attention of an actress in 1974 as she was a part of The Second City improvisational comedy troupe in Toronto. Together with John Candy (1975-1978), she was part of the main cast of the sitcom Coming Up Rosie (1975-1978). O'Hara began working alongside Candy on Second City Television's sketch comedy show (1976-1984). O'Hara was recognized for her stand-up and writing abilities, and was awarded the Primetime Emmy Award of Outstanding Writing for Variety Series in 1981. O'Hara was part of the new Second City artistic Advisory Board, which was led by Stephen Colbert. Other members of the board were Dwayne Colbert. Tina Fey. Keegan–Michael Key. Julia Louis-Dreyfus.
